You probably take plenty of precautions in your daily life.  Still, no matter how prepared you are, life can change in an instant and disability can be the outcome.     Through your membership, should you become totally disabled, unable to perform the substantial and material duties of your regular job and are under the care of a doctor, after a 14 day elimination period you will receive up to $200 per week for up to 26 weeks.     A sports injury, a car accident, an illness, a problem pregnancy, a heart attack, a serious back injury – any of these situations can result in your not being able to work at your usual job.
